Special Called Meeting for the Town of Woodland to Adopt the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget and Water Rate Increase

Call to Order: Mayor Beale called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm.

Approval or Amendment of Agenda: Commissioner Cooper says to put time on agenda, Mrs. Burgess said to remove item 5. Commissioner Christison made a motion to approve the amended agenda, Commissioner Cooper seconded.

Approval or Amendment of Fiscal Year Budget: Commissioner Cooper motioned to approve the 2023-2024 budget, Commissioner Cooper seconded.

Approval or Amendment of Water Rate Increase: Commissioner Christison motioned to approve water rate increase which will start July 1st and will be for 2023-2024 Budget year, Commissioner Cooper seconded.

Direct Deposit Meeting: Mrs. Burgess informed the board that we need to figure out a date to have Lori from Southern Bank come by and explain the process of Direct Deposit to the Board. Commissioner Christison said to put Lori on the agenda for the July meeting.

Public Comments: No public was present.

Adjourn: Commissioner Christison motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:08 pm, Commissioner Cooper seconded.
